Would anyone know how to work out which accrual rate when booking a JAL international ticket with a domestic connection? (e.g. SIN-HND-ITM)? The Qantas website only uses F, J, and Y as booking codes listed for the dom flights, so not exactly helpful, it seems.

If you use your airport codes on the QF earning points calculator, to shows a total of 1066 points and 35 status credits for discount Y.

The calculator does not take account of the booking class code though. The table reads something like this:

Y (Domestic)

Discount Economy

0.50

So I'm hoping for a way to work out 1. whether a booking is eligible (the dom booking uses the same booking code as the international sectors, i.e. FAJCDIYBHVMLV etc), and 2. how to know which of the 2 lines to use on the above table.
