I want to fly both HBA-MEL-KUL-HKT and then return but the stupid using points calculator says there are no flights between KUL and HKT whereas I know both QR and MH fly the route. I just need to know if it pushes me into the next points tier or can be added for no extra points.

It is saying KUL-MEL-HBA is 60K in business but that might be because it is an EK/QF only flight and if add on a one World partner then it might cost a lot more so maybe just buy a cheap economy for that leg.

Thanks,
Dale.

greatcirclemapper will help you work out the distance. Then look at the relevant table for the points required. As you say, it might be cheaper to buy the add-on.
