The flight is not tracked, and a fleet of C17s take the gear home. Here is POTUS departing over Brisbane.

Putin's IL-96 wasn't visible either. Guess it reduces the chance of being shot down.

The German A340 was another 'no-comms a/c.

The A319 Brazilian Air Force was visible.

Yeah I can remember hearing that both AF1 and AF2 were here. Seriously does someone really need 1000 people to pander after them? I get he's the president but honestly that is complete overkill.

Putin had a detachment of his Navy come too.
The G20 is the ultimate hot air conference and collection of DYKWIA.

Friend lives in CBR. He is lamenting how cold it can get in winter. I told him don't worry just move closer to the big white building on hill. Lots of hot air there

Saw a CA flight land behind QF812 at CBR this afternoon and head over to the RAAF side.

Both VC25 aircraft were in BNE for the G20. They are not "Air Force 1" and "Air Force 2", they only take on those names if POTUS or VPOTUS are on board. 28000 and 29000 are the tail numbers. Both aircraft travel together so one is available if the other breaks. They can carry about 100 people.

I saw 2 C17's parked at PEK on Monday morning when I landed there and saw the VC25s parked when I departed PEK on Wednesday morning, they were there for APEC.

28000 and 29000 are both 747-200 but Im sure i saw a 747 and also a 757 ? In the similar livery. The smaller one had winglets similar to the 738

The 757 in similar livery was carrying the Secretary of Treasury.

Channel 7 BNE showed a transcript between ATC & the pilot of a light aircraft that had inadvertently crossed into G20 airspace.

The apologetic pilot said something along the lines of "I'm sorry sir I didn't realise we were that close".

ATC responded with "(callsign) you might be met on arrival".

I'm thinking that the 'might' is more like a definite maybe. Like tea & bikkies with a CASA FOI x 1000?

That was actually a conversation with a hornet and the aircraft.

Which one, at Amberley it was the backup for the Vc25 while the one at BNE was carrying the Sec.

There was a 757 at Amberley too? Whoops missed that one. I was talking about the one at BNE. Also I thought the VC25 was the backup to the VC25.

IIRC there has never been a time when two VC25s were on Australian soil at the same time, as I mentioned earlier they tend to bring the NAECP (E4B) and put her within an hour of the VC25, (40787 was the bird at SYD) and also when Bush was here for APEC in 2007

There were two 757s at Amberley, 09-0015 and 09-0016

Well that's interesting to know. After watching a few documentaries I always thought the second 747 was always in tow as the back up.

So to sum it up, the US delegation consisted of:

1x VC25 (Amberley) = AF1
2x C-32A (Amberley) = backup for AF1 + Security personnel (?)
1x C-32A (BNE) = Secretary of Treasury transport
1x E-4B (SYD) = NEACP

+ how many C-17 for transport of motorcade fleet, Marine 1 choppers and other equipment?

And who wanted the world to reduce greenhouse emissions so the ultimate DYKWIA can chinwag/shirtfront?
