Family transfers

My parents each have a few (<5000) QFF points which will expire at the end of this year. They will not being earning or burning to keep them so my question is, can I do a family transfer to both of them to make their balances >5000 and then transfer the whole lot back to my account in order to hoover up their points?

Transfer enough points to one of them then transfer the total to the other parent then to yourself., e.g.son-dad-mum-son.

That worked a treat . Was under a 1000 points but every little helps!
