Might be a known trick but I find using the SQ app for award searching quite handy as it has a +/- 3 day option so means you can see a weeks worth of awards - at least see which day has the cheapest points cost.

No idea why SQ don't add this feature to their standard site. A monthly view like on QF would be awesome.

yep - the app also seems to offer longer layovers than on the normal website - have never booked a redemption through the app so not sure if they stick or not but definitely look good if don't want to pony up the $100 for a stopover.

When you say $100 for stopover I'm assuming that's for a revenue ticket rather than reward flight? Saver awards don't see to allow stopovers like they used to :(

Hopefully cruiser will stick his head into this thread. I think he got a KF staff member to confirm you can call up and get a stopover on a saver award fare for US100. Think its in the tips and tales thread.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Possibly on a return. Don't think it's possible on a one way saver award

I only book one way savers as a general rule, and did this a number of years ago. Fee I am pretty sure back then was only $30 each.

I just asked the operator at the time was there anyway to do it, and she offered that straight away.

Yeah I used to be able to do it as well a number of years ago, but my understanding is it's technically not allowed, but by the sounds of it people are getting one added, so might have to give it a try.
