Will it work to use the PS card to board as a BP, not having activated the QCC and just used the Red NB QCC to spend on?
Feel it will be a pain to keep changing DD authorities as the PS/SG QCC last only a year, and at the end, having to tell utilities and others DD details have again changed.

Too many acronyms!

If you've checked in online or with the pedestal you can use your frequent flyer card to board - they scan the barcode on the FF side of the card. The Qantas Cash part of the card has no bearing on it.

Sorry, but I am struggling to make sense of your post.

I read a lot of posts with acronyms which to me teeter on the edge of incomprehensibility, this one is a beauty ;).

Allow me to translate :)

Will it work to use the Pleb Silver card to board as a Boarding Pass, not having activated the Qantas Cash Card and just used the Red Nothing Bronze Qantas Cash Card to spend on?
Feel it will be a pain to keep changing Direct Debit authorities as the Pleb Silver/Scum Gold Qantas Cash Card last only a year, and at the end, having to tell utilities and others Direct Debit details have again changed.

I drive everyone bonkers on every forum I fall into.
700 odd, but makes no/not much sense, its the quiet ones that you have to worry about. The noisy nutters, you know what to expect.
I am like the cooing pigeon sitting on the power line. Or the weird old dog barking to himself.
Apologies.

Great mate, WOOF!

(I don't know which advert this saying comes from, but I like it. And you are a pooch except when you are being a pigeon.)

To answer the question, yes it should still work as a boarding pass despite the Qantas Cash component not being activated.

LonelyFlyer, ta for the tip.
I will be using QF SG too when I attain SG after Jan 15, ... bliss.
Enjoy it for a year then back to either PS or NB with paid QP.
