Hi all,

Planning to go rtw next year and will need to fly from JFK to LAX, I know QF has no domestic rights in the US but could a QF passenger with a passport fly JFK to LAX and stop over in LA for a few days then fly back to OZ as long as the whole thing is part of an international itinerary?

Yes. I did a three day stop in lax on the way from jfk to MEL. Booked it as a multi city.

Yes, can definately be done as stopover, just be warned when you get back on at lax - they dont call it QF10late for no reason....

Awesome.....

Will be on that flight in about 4 weeks time (full JFK-SYD). Will just have to stay in the QP a little longer :)

Remember that early next year, QF107/108 will cease with the LAX-JFK leg operating as QF15/16 from/to BNE and the SYD-LAX sector of 107/108 being retimed as QF17/18.
