Comped Silver

IMO QF Silver is no big deal but I was surprisingly comped for next year. Only earned 150 SCs and have only been PS for the last two years. Better than nothing - I have to go MEL-DRW-MEL in a few weeks and VA has terrible flight times, so the complimentary QP pass will come in handy.

DRW hasn't been booked yet, only forward bookings are J class rewards for next Aug-Sept.

Still.. one pass is pretty poor, right? On the same day I received two free QP passes from Westpac from my Earth Black card.

Agreed. Perhaps 3-4 complimentary lounge passes would be more like it.

Just out of interest do VA give out more? But must be used while the member is travelling.

VA give two I think but are only valid for 6 months.

You could always consult the lounge meetings threads to see if someone could guest you until you hit a higher level, or purchase extra lounge passes on eBay

Not being pedantic, on an aside, (thread jack), is buying airline lounge passes on ebay still possible though?
I personally have QP (paid)-outside of ebay, but have been curiously looking in ebay, I think also that ebay has banned the use of the name airline lounge passes, wondering what the "correct" term is now on that website.

Also on Gumtree. After the freebies from a recent credit card deal included 2 passes, they are numerous.
