Hi
Just saw a QF A380 VH-OQA taking off from Perth. Flightradar said it was headed to DXB and LHR. Was it a diversion?

Cheers

A380 in Perth, a glitch or reality?

I may be wrong but Flight radar 24, thought there was a QA380 in Perth this morning @ 5:30AM

But the plane data dosn't add up .... when you look at destination - arrival locations it dosn't appear to fly over Australia and tracking the flight plan line it appears to have started it flight up in the North West of WA

Can any one shed any light on this?

It was there for sure - I saw it taking off around 5:30am. I looked on flightradar and it looked like it diverted south to PER around Broome or Karratha a few hours earlier.

Re: A380 in Perth, a glitch or reality?

When will we see a A380 commercial flight out of Perth?

Considering EK has put off bringing their 380 to PER, I am guessing it won't be for a while.

They fly close to Perth all the time, why not pop in and collect a few passengers
