Singapore to Perth in J December 4

Fellow AFFer's,

Does anybody have any advice or suggestions for getting a J class flight from Singapore to Perth for 2 adults on December 4th this year?

Happy to buy and burn miles in current promo's.... and have blown most QF points (50k remaining) and MR points (30k remaining)... but will use the rest if possible.

Any suggestions? I have flogged most of the search engines in AA/lifemiles/malaysian/qantas but not having much joy!

Happy to negotiate a reward for a suitable suggestion.

If you are looking for the best paid Business Class flight options, can you indicate what is the best price you have found so far?

Fair bit available on Malaysian to do SIN-KUL-PER on December 4 for 2 adults.

Set yourself up both Enrich accounts and you get 1000 points to start each (if you haven't already).

Ring up Amex and purchase 3k more points (or 4k more if you have already set up an Enrich account and redeemed those previously) at $25 per 1000. Transfer through the 34k to your Enrich account and book one seat (~SGD340 in taxes, ~AUD300)

Then the other account will have 1000. You can do a cash + miles on MH for this seat which will come out to SGD1291 (~AUD1150).

Alternatively you can do Air Asia X business class (yes budget carrier but decent enough flat bed for what you pay) (SIN-KUL-PER) for approximately AUD637 per person (total AUD1274) . There is also Scoot Biz (which is direct) (again yes budget but good space for price and its completely a daytime flight) for SGD350 per person (total SGD700 or ~620)

We were hoping to spend less than $1500 for both of us... as rabbits5 pointed out Air Asia X and Scoot are viable options...
