As I have been moved from the BA codeshare to Qf with 1 day to go. I asked them if they can credit as R instead of Q but they refuse on the basis Q is a higher fare class. Anything I can do or just be glad it was cheap...

You mention 3 airlines here. I can't work out exactly what you're asking.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

R on BA is Club Europe
R on QF is PE
so I don't see how you can expect to be in those classes if on codeshares

Q on AY earns more than R when crediting to QF
whereas R on AY when crediting to AA does appear to be wrongly allocated

Sorry for confusion. As Markis10 deduced crediting to AA where the lowest fare class R in fact credits as full fare economy. I think I am just going to have ti.chalk it up to experience as the Eticket was reissued with Q hence I don't think AA will do ORC for R and I don't really want to push the point for fear the categorization will change.
