50% sale on again

Just checked for better prices on my booked fully flex HKG room, and I got a 50% discount sale price, cancel old and book new. Saved $360 over 5 nights and got the next level up room to boot.

Checked similar booked rooms in BKK, DXB, KUL, BAH, MEL, SYD. No 50% discount on those rooms, damn! Maybe tomorrow.

The offer does not give any dates or how long it is around for. I have not received an email either, which I usually do, I just stumbled upon it.

I couldn't find anything in SYD for the 1st Fri in Sept.

The other thing I noticed was instead of producing a list of 41 Hotels it loaded a map with different regions of SYD on it, absolutely awful to use imo. Does anyone know how you can revert to a list view of all hotels? I could only do it once I'd selected a region.

It's been like that for quite a while, it is not something you can change, and I have read here 6 to 10 months ago that people have complained to Accor about it.

When I have a trip planned well in advance, I check for rates every few days. It does get very annoying, that maps reference only, ie if you want to compare say compare the Pullman Hyde Park with the Sofitel or Novotel Darling Harbour, it is not in the same map section, annoying and coughbersome.

If you type in "Sydney and Blue Mountains" it brings up all Sydney hotels. Frustrating but once you discover that it's back to the old list of all hotels and not the silly breakups.
