New Look QF MMB

It actually doesn't recognise if someone has status or not - I have a booking of a NB that I can see, and it still has the same ! and message about checking Frequent Flyer Baggage Allowance.
As for the previous MMB, I don't remember if it did or not, but I agree an improvement would be nice.

Good point. One of my bookings does say platinum frequent flyer next to the ! That might be a separate box on the page. So perhaps the ! just appears if there is a QFF number on the booking. But something is looking up the status level as well.

I note that the web redesign is being extended. The Frequent Flyer pages now have the same look and feel - expansive empty white spaces, huge photos linked to upsell opportunities, very little information. Useful things like the Earning Points Calculator are now buried and take half a dozen clicks to access.

That's the most annoying bit about the redesign.

Can't check in online for a booking within 24 hours. Can't tell whether its the new MMB or a glitch full stop:rolleyes:

Just made my first flight booking since the change and must say I don't like it at all. I also have a car booking, where the new format is much much better, but flights yuk. Far too much info.

Same here. Have been trying to check in since 11.40 without success. I do find the new layout difficult to navigate.

But what you aren't taking into account is that the children who do these things for Qantas wouldn't be clicking anything. Probably not, like, frequent flyers dude, and, like, if they did access the site, like, they would be poking the screen with their fingers.

Dude.

Dude.

Yet somehow the main search engine on the front page of the QF web site does not play at all nicely with poking fingers. Sigh!!!

QF web monkeys: 1 style for desktops, 1 style for mobile devices - it is that simple!

But you should know by now QF doesn't do simpler and fairer LOL

It's fair that frequent flyers can book on a computer. Once the dollar is taken it's simply a matter of pandering to the finger pokes

Could do OLCI yesterday, but not check in through the app...

It took me awhile to figure it out and the whole MMB page was a PITA.

Surely the people who approve these changes should be named and shamed?
I have somehow memorised what I need to see on Manage Your Booking and I am quickly about to get to it bypassing all the static noise.

ANyone else having trouble entering FF numbers? I'm trying my and SWMBO's AA platinum numbers with no luck. Finnair and Qatar's pages both come up with errors when trying, though I could select seats with Qatar. I also made the elementary mistake of being logged in to QFF when accessing MMB and now my QFF number is attached...

You will need to call. The online checks appear more stringent than those imposed on an agent.

I had a situation with a USair DM booking where my name was entered into the bookingas "Mr Firstnamesecondname Surname" rather than "Mr Firstname Secondname Surname" - adding my FF number with MMB would not work.

A call and it was fixed in seconds.

Does anybody know to access the fare conditions using the new MMB layout? I have an ex SIN booking which I need to check.
