Are Qantas operating and A330 services between Sydney and Melbourne during August/September? If so could someone please list which flights they are scheduled on?

It is quite easy to look up the flights when looking at the booking page. Remember though that a/c are frequently subbed out.

I believe they operate very infrequently on that route.

Saturday Arvo the 4pm flight Mel-Syd is normally an A330.

You're better off looking for a 767 if its the widebody you're after. They are a lot more frequent.

They will be coming up to 4 daily on mel-syd weekdays towards the end of the year as 767s are scrapped
