Any recent updates transiting to DL at LAX for PLatinum Members?

Just wondering what people's experiences have been lately as Platinum members connecting to DL flights at LAX.

Are people getting the Priority Screening that is listed as being one of the benefits and what does that exactly entail?

I happen to have one of those Platinum Membership/Global Wallet cards that don't even identify it as being issued in connection with Virgin Australia.

DL's systems recognise Velocity Gold and Platinum, so SKY PRIORITY should appear on the boarding card - which gets you access to priority security (which in reality is just a marginally shorter line).

Yeah I know but if you happened to have checked in at say SYD and were issued a VA boarding pass for a codeshare DL flight it isn't going to say SKY PRIORITY on it.

Get a new delta boarding pass at the lounge. That's what we did to get the priority.

Well that will certainly ensure PRIORITY BOARDING but in order to get to the lounge you need to go thru security first. It doesn't answer the question of getting PRIORITY SCREENING

Ask for your boarding card to be re-issued either at the bag re-check facility at TBIT or at the check-in desks at T5.
