Does anyone have a recommendation for good seats for a family of four on the 777 in economy going to LA? All the recommendations seem to be PE or J, but very little info on economy.

Thanks for your help!

Two adults and two kids? How old are the kids and do you have VFF status (seat choices are slightly lessened if not gold or plat). Does anyone in the family absolutely love window or aisle?

Yep, two adults and two kids (9 and 12). I am a VA platinum and my wife is gold.

No real absolute loves.

Thanks again,

Row 20 bulkhead. A little extra legroom and no toilets nearby like exit row (which would not be an option with kids that age). The risk is row 20 has a bassinet there. We did row 20 return to LAX a few weeks ago and noise canceling headphones took care of any noise.

I totally agree with this. The only additional drawback is that the entertainment units can't be used for take-off and landing, which might annoy a 12-year-old ;)
I suggest A,B,C & D or G,H,J & K rather than splitting two and two across the aisle. AB&C or H,J&K together means plenty of space in front to spread everyone and everything out.
Enjoy the trip!
