I received a notification of flight change from QF (QF6 SIN-SYD) now leaving SIN 30 min later. This leaves only 1h15 for my domestic connection. Is the MCT at SYD 1:15 or 1:30? According the the table below taken from EF I guess the correct MCT is 1:30 if transferring from T1 to T3, so my connection is now "illegal"? Are MCT issues automatically flagged by QF or it takes some time/manual input?

Are your QF International and QF domestic flights on 1 PNR/ticket?

Yes same PNR, but these are classic award seats, so I need to make sure there is some U class left on other flights if MCT is illegal.

I could just call QF, but people here often know more! :D

A QF problem: not yours

QF tend to move you regardless to the next service if there has been a delay, would not worry about it.

Yep, you could call and discuss the change (you might like to look at the flight timings and "suggest" your preferred onward flight option), but even if you did nothing, it's likely they'd just fix it on the day anyway.

As it's an involuntary change on a same pnr ticket, it's QF's problem to fix.

I called QF and the connection was indeed "illegal", but the agent had to check after I mentioned it so apparently all illegal connections are not automatically flagged by QF booking system. I'm now booked on the next flight.

They likely just would have fixed it on the day (or in the day or two prior to the flight). This way you had a bit more say in which flight (eg. some people choose a widebody service rather than a 737 and would wait an extra 30mins for example).
