Hi all,

My partner is currently in KUL for work and is due to fly to MNL thru HKG on the weekend on CX. She is flying J and has oneworld emerald status (QFF Plat). I believe her stopover in HKG is about 2 hours. Just wondering what lounges in KUL and HKG you would recommend so I can forward it thru to her?

Also, she is flying from back MNL to SYD on QF in J. Any recommendations for lounges in MNL?

Thanks in advance.

How long is she at KUL? If she has time, she should go to the Satellite Terminal and use the MH F Lounge with the Platinum Suites. The table service restaurant is also quite good.

At HKG - Wing F, Bridge, or QF Lounge.

Not much in MNL apart from the CX lounge which is very bland.

In HKG with only that much time in transit I would go to the lounge closest to the departure gate.

Thanks for the feedback, it is very much appreciated :D. I'll pass it on to her.

Not quite a lounge recommendation, but in HKG, try to find out which gate the next flight will be departing from just before landing. The information is available via the IFE system, or, if in doubt, try asking one of the FAs. If she is arriving at a far gate, but the next flight is at the low-numbered gates, she should take the APM to the area near customs before going through the transfer point. As the APM is one-way for departures and arrivals, if she goes through the transfer points at the far gates, she'll need to walk back to the other gates at the departures side.

Ok, good info... I'll pass it in to her (she fly's into HKG on Saturday). Thanks mate!
