New QF 'partner' airline ?

So, I'm selecting my seat for the MEL-CBR sector (QF flight) in a couple of days and this:



Not sure I've seen that combination of airlines in one booking, OW airlines where my FF number is attached sure, but not like this ! I'm not even sure how this happened, it was separate bookings on QF and VA.

As Frogger mentioned , this would be a Amadeus travel agent that has booked for you under 1 booking (ie same PNR)

yes that's correct. I often book clients like this - just the ticket numbers are issued separately. no need to be amadeus, can be sabre too

There is not much other choice when airlines from a different alliance interline in Australia. I have seen UA appear on a QF site booking I made SYD-LAS a couple of years ago.
