5,000 Bonus Points for adding a supplementary card holder over the phone.

Amex are running the promo again for 5,000 bonus points for adding a supplementary card holder, You need to do it over the phone.

I was eligible on my Explorer and Platinum Edge, but not my Gold Charge.

Promo is running till the end of the month.

good luck! applied for supplementary card at end of May as well. Was told over phone was eligible for 3k pts. Followed up last week to be told as it wasn't "approved" until June , I don't get em

also I literally just got my card (qantas ultimate amex) last week, so i am waiting for the 100 000 K that i will get for this, do you think I would get the bonus for getting my husband the supplementary card?

no spend requirement. Points usually post a couple of days after ordering.

Have a long chat with agent yesterday about adding both sup cards for my Explorer and DJ cards only one lot of 5000 bonus points per cards end up getting 2 x 5000 for both of my cards . He said points will post 4 weeks after promotion end on 2 Sep

1 x 5000 points. It doesnt matter how many supplementary cards you add. A smart person would get a supplementary card for the dog this month, then wait for the next promotion to get the cat one.

Usually within a week, but four weeks after promo end is the usual official line.

Added one tonight and when I asked I was told only one set of bonus points PER CARD.

That is not the deal on offer though.

All posters that have asked have been told it is one per card, and then only if that card is eligible as some are not.

I'm currently 3 months into my 18 months purgatory, if I take out a supplementary card under my mum's card to trigger this deal would it mean that I would be ineligible for an Amex promo in 15 month's time?
