We have today launched and opened our Premium Valet service at Brisbane Domestic Airport.
Located directly adjacent to the terminal, the new service means all Virgin Australia guests can now pull up to the kerbside, leave their keys with the valet and be checked into their flight straight away at the dedicated valet reception area.
This service is open every day, one hour prior to the first flight until 30 minutes after the last flight of the day, with prices starting from $55.00 for up to 14 hours and $65.00 for up to 24 hours.

To find Premium Valet when approaching from Airport Drive:

Follow Airport Drive past the International Terminal
Continue approximately 1km further along Airport Drive;
Turn right onto Chloris Street;
Take the first left off Chloris Street (onto a service road);
Turn right at the end of the service road onto Hibiscus Street;
Follow Hibiscus Street around to the southern end of the Domestic Terminal, where the driveway entrance to Premium Valet is located.

Is this service available to those with baggage to check in, or is it only available to those with just carry-on ?

For short term it is a bit expensive but for long term parking the rate is pretty good.

I park off site and pay a lot less than that though.

Are thy going to offer a car washing service?

Great news!

Is this just a valet service, or also a premium entry to the lounge with a private security channel?

Absolutely available to those with baggage to check-in. You will need to take those bags through to the main check-in area though.

This is a valet service, no premium entry (ala Sydney), and no private security channel.

any ideas on when we can expect premium entry just below the lounge area?

Nothing to report there sorry.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the old GW have the security check-in downstairs there as well?

Put in priority valet, check-in and security with direct lounge access and I'd certainly use it. Just valet? Can't really see the benefit. After the drive right round the airport, you get dearer parking and still have to walk half the building to the same check-in/security screening, just to walk back to the lounge again. I can't see any time savings there, which is supposed to be the real benefit of valet.

Can anyone (especially VA) say whether the full deal is on the cards for sometime in the near future, or is that cloak and dagger stuff as well? I must admit, I thought it would be a replica of SYD, which from a flyers perspective works exceptionally well.

Give the service a go Swanning_it and you will find that you don't have to drive around the airport, in fact you avoid having to negotiate the taxi rank as well as the carpark itself - both these points will show the Valet service to be of benefit.
As far as walking the half the length of the building.... from entering the building it would be approx 60 - 80 metres to the security point. In the scheme of airports, not a long walk!

As far as a Sydney premium entry style - of course we are always looking at providing great service and great value to our guests and innovative solutions such as a premium entry will be looked at.

Is there a washing service available ?

How funny Major and I put the same comment up at the exact same time.....lol

had the chance to use this for the first time last week, and was happy with the experience - was met by a friendly attendant as i pulled up, called from sydney to let them know i was on an earlier flight than first planned and my car was waiting for me when i turned up to pay.

anyone else checked it out? i saw some pretty nice cars - any AFFers driving an BMW 7-series? ;)

i use it regularly. and no, the beamer isnt mine!
i'm pretty happy with it, although it is a nightmare to find for the first timer! They need more, and clearer,signage.
last time i used it, i asked about the private security and direct lounge access and was told 'its coming' - they have to negotiate the space and necessary works with BAC i suppose.

wouldnt be surprised to see this in the not too distant future
