I noticed that zuji in Australia does not accept Amex, but zuji in Singapore and Hong kong do. (How rude!!!!)
Also wondering whether it is possible to book through zuji sg, for example, for flight originating from Australia.

Yes you can book through Zuji.wherever for any flight.

However, you can sometimes be charged a processing fee depending on where your flights originate.

Did book an Asia-somewhere flight once which needed paper tickets. They were booked through the .sg site I think, but the tickets came from Sydney.

IIRC, they used to accept Amex in Australia, not sure why they dropped it. Assume it's something to do with the merchant fees...

Not as simple as that, I think.

I book through Zuji (SG) quite a bit, and find that some airlines accept Amex and some don't seem to.

By the way, you can book ex-Oz flights thru Zuji.com.sg without any problems at all. Best to set up a profile for yourself first, though.

Do they charge you in SGD? Or in the currency of your choice (ie AUD)?

Depends on the flights taken, and where the carriers are located.

Sometimes you'll pay in the local currency of the zuji site you use, the local currency of the origin country or USD. Depends on whether the carrier charges your CC, Zuji does, and what currency is in use where you are charged.

BTW, Zuji have just implemented a "Service Charge" for most flights. There are still some ways around the fee, but they are reducing.

I think it's 5% - Anyways, it's a % based on the cost of the flight chosen.

I've switched now from Zuji, but may use them for certain purchases.
