Hi all,

i tried booking a codeshare flight earlier and clicked the start over button at the payment stage to see if I was able to add a hotel to the booking (I wasn't). I already selected seats. Now the flight is showing up in my bookings with a reference number and all and I can't select those seats anymore when trying to properly book the flight. Does anyone know how long these take to disappear / cancel? Cheers

It probably will disappear at 0000 either AEDT or GMT (I forget which). You'll probably get an email from QF with a gentle reminder to "complete the booking" or some such, and it should say if you do nothing to just wait and it will go away. In theory

Been there, done that. It should definitely drop out around midnight. Will the system let you go back in and make changes? Otherwise, if the flights are otherswise ok, you can spend three hours on hold to complete the purchase or wait 3 1/2 hrs and rebook.

Tell me about it These last couple of days have been a nightmare with lots of hours in que's trying to fly back to Perth from Europe while avoiding hotel quarantine (via interstate arrival). Had to make a couple of changes along the way.

Can't make any changes to the flight, including seat selection.
