and here's one of them: I can't for the life of me see, when I'm doing a mock QF booking, how many SC's I will get for each sector of the flight. Can someone please help? Thanks

From the QF homepage

Frequent Flyer > Earning Points > Earning Points Calculator

Plug in your sectors and it will reveal points and SC earnt

Of course, that does not always work as some routes are not covered by that calculator.

Another way is to plug the routing into the oneworld explorer validator (MileageMonkey), check "Ignore errors (for expert users!)" and click [GO!]

Scroll down and see the Disc. Econ./Business/First class points/SC's for each flight segment.

You'll then need to do some adding up.
