Y booking but seated in PE?

Hi,

I think i've been able to choose a PE seat on the QF108 747 service our of LAX next Friday night, i'm in 38B on this seatmap here: SeatGuru Seat Map Qantas Airways Boeing 747-438 4-Class Vers. 2 (744)

do they actually give you PE service or just the seat in the end?

looking forward to it either way, nice surprise to have a bit more space at least I hope

Yep, you're in a PE seat. Economy service though.

Some people booked in PE will get Skybeds.

Some people booked in Business will get First seats.

It's been reassigned as economy.

I looked up the seat map in ExpertFlyer, which pulls directly from the airline reservations system. It's definitely PE seating.

All depends on the a/c scheduled for that day.

A few years back, there was a lot of movement in the QF fleet and QF73/74 the SYD-SFO routes, never sold F. As a WP, I used to take this flight frequently. In the probably 20 times I took it, I never once ended up in an economy seat.
