I currently am QP with 1000SC and have a flight from IST/LHR with BA on 30 Sept that will earn 80SC and then connecting later that evening for my return flight to Aust with QF that should earn at least 200SC.Both flights are in Business. Will I re qualify for QP again as even though my review date is 30 Sept, my flight will arrive in SYD on the morning of 2/10?

I believe it goes off departure date of the flight not arrival. So as long as the flights depart before your membership anniversary month you are good.
Someone else can confirm if im wrong

A PM to Red Roo might clarify your position.
BTW. Do you mean WP? Vs QP?

The status credits will accrue for the date of scheduled departure (if there is a delay to your LHR->AU flight no need to worry).

Arrival date doesn't matter, it's the date your flight is supposed to leave at point of origin.

QP? You mean Qantas Platinum? I think so.

anyway if flight date is 30SEP then yes, they will credit for this membership year, so you should get over the 1200 mark to retain Platinum (otherwise known as WP here) status.

if a flight is rescheduled, or you move to a flight dated 01OCT then that would move to the next year, but even so if it's not by your choice you could claim credit for 30SEP on those grounds. Either way you're good.

(QP is used as a code sometimes for "Qantas Pub" aka the Qantas Club - confusing I am sure :) )

As long as you're flying LHR-SYD on the same flight number (presumably QF2) then all good.

If you're changing flights in Dubai or having a stopover, and the next flight departs on/after 1 Oct, then you'll have a problem.

It may also depend on what SC you have earned over the past three years, on a call to QF last week we were advised that they are taking a rolling average of 3 years and if you fall short one year but go over on the other two all will be fine.
