Working in Charlston SC and DC into a NYC trip

Hi, I am familiar with getting CBR to JFK, but for next time I'd like to look at via Charlston SC and DC, (then maybe train from DC to JFK).

What might be route and airline options please? Any observations appreciated.

Would prefer to use QF and VA points or a few SQ (if via SIN). Or re-position to another Asian hub in Y and then onwards in F.
