Wordpress help please?

Is there anyone on here that is a Wordpress guru. I want to add multiple photos and then be able to put text between the photos (if you put captions on the photos it appears below the photos and not above them) I've done it before but just can't seem to do it now - it might be that something has updated because I haven't used it for a while.

I was wondering if I just need a plugin that will help.

Are you able to post a screenshot of the problem you're having?

This should be a simple matter of adding a text section between the two photos in your Wordpress post (see below). But I may be misunderstanding your issue.

Hi Matt - thanks for your interest - I've attached screen shots of what I wanted to do in a pdf. Once I insert the photos in Classic unless I individually edit all my photos then I can't put spaces between them and in the old ones I know I've done that. I just wondered if there was a plug in that might help. If I insert a gallery again I can't work out how to put the spaces into between the photos -
