Woolworths gift card thread

Is anyone else having issues with the CashRewards website today?
If I click on the Woolworths save 5.00% link as per usual - I now get taken to a screen asking me to sign in (even though I already am...)
All other links seem to be working as per normal - only the 5% off is out of action :(
Not having the same issue.

But I'm still waiting for a WISH card purchased more than 24 hours ago via the cashrewards site!

Purchased one an hour ago, all went through fine, including the discount. Maybe check your browser settings to make sure cookies are enabled?

wow, that's a while!

noob question, do wish eGift cards require activation? and if yes how quick is that?

'Hi Dr Ralph,

Thank you for your email,

I have checked your order and can see that it is currently with our payments team. They should be sending that out to you soon.'

This is the response I got 24 hours after the WISH card I ordered had not arrived. Seems there may be a system wide problem.

CashRewards were having some certificate issues earlier in the week. I think members were having trouble logging in at the time. Perhaps they haven't resolved everything. Good luck. I'm just speculating here. I haven't checked the site today.

I've tried purchasing from 3 different devices (all of which I've used previously) and having the same issue so I'm guessing it's an issue on cashrewards side. I've contacted them through the website, but no response as yet

I used RACWA to get those Woolies 5% off Gift cards and no problem. Looking forward to almost 70,000 reward points from Amex.

I went for physical plastic cards off RACWA for our last 2 orders and they arrive about a week later. Getting 5% off and 3 points for Velocity per dollar spend on Amex Platinum Edge has become a favourite. With the value of business class seats to Sydney and back it works out at 11% all up.
Thanks LTO for the Edge tip....it was easy pickings.

Quick question - can anyone tell me if Westfield gift cards are accepted for Post Billpay at Aust Post? I can’t find the answer anywhere online. Also, what is the best way to maximise points earning using gift cards for bills? I’m new to using gift cards for bills so any info or guidance would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Depends on the Australia Post outlet. Many object to these cards, but the system normally allows them to be processed.

So you buy 9 $50 cards in woolies and the woolies dollars means you get one free right?
$50 Woolies dollars to spend in a single transaction?

I've always wondered. How do the merchants or the actual cards know that the eftpos card is being used where

Eg can we use it as a normal eftpos card?
Does any one know?
