I bought 10 WOW eGift cards (through cash rewards) about 10 days ago.

I've had considerable difficulty in loading them directly to the app from the spreadsheet. After much effort, I have managed to load 8 of them (some directly, some manually). The remaining two show up fine on-line but when I enter the card number into the app it states: "invalid card number".

Has anyone had a similar experience?

Is there a limit as to how many you can load to the app, either in total or in one day?,

Thanks

JV

anyone tried purchasing the only1 visa cards at big w with the egift cards?

Not recently but doing it at Big W is annoying because the scales don't recognise the gift card so you have to put something else on the scales otherwise it calls an attendant over.

I'm a newbie to this thread and I have subscribed to if for updates as I want to better learn and understand the strategies with Woolworths gift cards.

Is there somewhere in this thread or elsewhere that sets out the rationale/methodology for using the Gift cards as it isn't quite apparent to me from reading this thread. It seems to mainly comprise people experience in executing a strategy rather than the strategy itself.

Many thanks.

Drummond Golf gift cards were on special last week. Has anyone noticed how often these gift cards are on sale?

is it easy to use multiple cards in 1 booking?
Relatively easy. But there are some quirks which do not affect most although both affected me the other day. If booking crashes you cannot use that gift card for 24 hours. You can't pay for same day flights with gift cards.

The answers are in the thread.

I'm not deliberately being cryptic. However there are recent examples of strategies being detailed in this and other threads, then being shutdown. So I expect most people will be reluctant to outline it again.

Have a good look back through the thread and if you really can't find what you're looking for PM me.

But I promise it's there.

To be fair, I don' think the main principles are that secretive. Most of us buy 5% discounted WISH cards through The Entertainment Book or RACQ/state equivalent. These can be paid for using an American Express Platinum Edge card which earns 3ppd. The cards can be used to buy other cards for other shops where the earn rate would only be 1ppd.

Thanks Mr_Orange and Captain Halliday.
What Mr_Orange has outlined is what I gleaned from reading the thread but I thought there must be something more to it. If it's that simple, then I get it.

the bigw @ macquarie park does not allow gift cards to be purchased with e-gift cards. Don't know why but I've stopped trying there.
The Top Ryde Big W was ok when I tried around 4months + ago.
I think woolies is much easier so I don't bother anymore.

I have actually been having more problems finding the eftpos cards. Only1 has been well stocked at my local.

On another note, bought 4k myer cards with no problems so the "10 card limit" is not enforced.

Did you get the credit for all 4k out just the first 10?
Yes. Because I had bought $200 ones (so $200 * 20), I could only do 2 at a time and just made sure I'd get prompted message of "You have earned $40 off your next shop".
Ready to buy iphones :D

Going to be difficult AFAIK as I used to use them for this at self serve machines at Post Office and earlier this year they stopped accepting eftpos - cash only - presumably as we were all laundering money by paying our ATO bills (I'm being facetious).
I think this avenue is now closed - at least at the POs I used to go to.

I thought so, my local woolies has stacks of $50 visa 1 cards, but all the $100 visa 1 cards all mysteriously, disappeared.
