Woolworths gift card thread

I somehow missed this thread and was worried people had not hammered the Perfect gift card promotion.

All good. Ok to pay with Wish gift cards?
 
Late to the party with this thread but managed to get some tonight. Will be paying closer attention to this thread :)
 
i only managed 61 cards due to delay in egiftcards coming through. Managed to liquidate them all today as well to pay part of my BAS . I am still pretty happy with tax free $610 to spend at JB. Takes away some of the pain of constantly feeding the the Canberra monster
 
I can advise that some of the woolies have had their checkout pos upgraded in SA. I went to mawson lakes today and tried to buy some perfect giftcards and an error message came up at the self checkout. I was told to try the manned checkout but was later told that the mawson lakes terminals had an upgrade last week and they no accept wishcards for gift cards purchase. 2 hours later, i went to marryatville store and purchase them without any issue. I think it is just a matter of time before this golden goose is dead.

I had a self serve machine in Adelaide (Rundle Mall store) reject payment by EGC for the purchase of a Rebel sport gift card.
The same machine allowed the purchase of a different gift card a moment later (Ultimate Gift Card for Her)

There has definitely been some systems updates in SA though - some of the stores I regularly visit did not require any staff verification/approval for EFTPOS cards in previous promotions - however during the latest JB promo - every store has required staff to verify/approve each transaction

I'm. Happy as long as it stays this way and we can continue to use egifts to purchase gift cards even if staff intervention is required

Found out when buying the $100 get $20 back amex statement credit and have consolidated them to $900 ones. They take 10 gift cards at a time but I have found it wouldn't let me process the order when entering 10 gift cards so you should only do 9 at a time.

How long does it take for the consolidated egift card to arrive in the email?

How long does it take for the consolidated egift card to arrive in the email?
My fastest was under 24 hours. Longest is over 72 hours now. Called yesterday and they said to be patient as they are still working out the kinks of the new site but not to worry the order is not lost.
I'm in no rush to use it so doesn't bother me.
