Woolworths gift card thread

I've read heaps of people struggling to use the Accor cards with t and Cs.
But the restauarnt cards are good value 10% better at your favourite restaurant.
I m not sure but sometimes dimmi have 50% off. And you may be able to use it stacked

Pretty much as I thought. Fairly limited options with Accor. Is it only for domestic hotels too? Or perhaps NZ as well?
Good idea to stack the restaurant cards. I'm not sure that there are many options to use them in my area though. They seem limited.
Doesn't Amex have the odd offer with Dimmi too? More stacking, if so.

I've personally. Never stayed at Accor hotels. But there was a post here a while ago where the hotel manager wouldn't let the person use the Accor card unless they paid full rack rates.

That's terrible service.
And yes dimmi sometimes have amex statement credits.. But that's for another thread:D:eek::eek:

What are people's thoughts on Accor and Restaurant Choice for using these? I find them pretty limited.

My one annoyance with Accor gift cards is that while I was able to get the cheaper online rate advertised for the hotel I was staying it, I was required to do a booking over the phone (made a bit more complicated that the gift card was only paying for part of the booking), seemed a not so great internal booking side made it complex for the customer service person I was dealing with.

Will these be easier to redeem than DJs?
A good question and it will be dependent on whether you can use these online or not, whether you can use more than one in a single transaction and, if not, can you get JB to merge them into one gift card if you buy multiple or not.

I redeemed 16 DJ vouchers for some trousers at the weekend. Slow but no issues.
The key thing for JBHiFi is if you can use multiple. Added bonus of avoiding the Amex fee

Checked 4 Woolworths today. Not one had any theperfectgiftcards in stock.

Curious, so also checked 2 Coles. None in stock.

Seems the JB HiFi promo is going to be a dud.

Just back from checking a few stores as well.

I found a total of zero!

Could they be holding them back and not going to put them on display until the promotion starts tomorrow?
