Just informing of the difference, as well as asking 1 general question abour your share.

Currently insured with: AAMI for $92.63 per month (dearer then the yearly option)

Quoted by yourshare online: Over $1000 per year through CGU. Question: What might be the cashback price? (ie:refund chq =?) (would it be cheaper then Woolies?)

Woolies Car Insurance:

  • 2 people on the quote, both with an accident in the last 5 years
  • pay monthly for free (no extra charges)
  • General bonus/extras included in quote
  • Bonus/extra includes roadside assistance for less then $100 per year!
  • Received my EDQCC Bill today, which includes a 10% off voucher for the 1st year (underwritten by Hollard)
  • Voucher for 10% = WMONEY

Total cost with all the extras/discounts (window / under 25 / hire car (10 days) / roadside assist. / Todays voucher of 10%) is currently quoted: $985.64 per year, being equal to $82.14 p/m.

Price difference between current insurance is: $10.49 p/m ($125.88 per year saved, with roadside assistance!).

I don't understand this.

What does "1 general question about your share" mean?

Refund cheque from whom?

What are you trying to say? Can you summarise this please?

You get paid most of your insurance commission back if you "broker" through 'your share'. Question is asking if I've got $1000 or so in fee's which would include the commission the provider receives when you join up, what might be the actual annual cost after receiving the refund chq?

This is a serious post. Just saying i got 2 quotes today, 1 from woolies and the other through cash back service.

Woolies is the cheapest of the 2 quotes. Question was asking if anyone who may be with cash back service, what might be the refund amount, which i would then take off the current quote.

Hi, how did you get on in the longer terms w' yr WOW car ins - any further issues / suggestions to date?

It's been going well so far. Nothing claimed, recieved (via insurance / bonus 4c off) fuel voucher everytime I spent the $30+ @ Safeway/Woolies (8c shopping + 4c car insurance), which usually gave a QFF points of 6c per litre (or 12c if not linked to QFF).

My year ends in November, so will do another 2 quotes: Coles red quote (tv ad) / Woolies.

I still pay monthly without any issues (extra charges).

I looked at Woolworths car insurance today. They won't insure me! My car, which has a 2L N/A petrol engine with a 4 speed automatic and does 0-100 in 11 seconds supposedly is un-insurable unless you're over 35. Wow.

I then changed the quote to a Golf 118 TSI which does 0-100 in around 8 seconds and that's fine?
