Will my pins set off security?

Ok- Im moving and using two domestic flights, I cant take a lot so I'm taking my large denim jacket and other heavier clothes by to fit more smaller items and clothes - my jacket has many safety pins, decorative things with pin backs, etc. so I'm wondering if these pins will get me into trouble and I should just suck it up and spend the time to take them out for half an hour or so (eef) and just chuck them in my suitcase to re-decorate later or if it'll be fine to go through security with them

At most airports you must take off jackets to go through security so it would not hold you up. I have my special jacket nick named my Rex jacket as their carry on limit is quite low. i now wear it on most domestic flights and it just comes off with all the electrical gizmos in the pockets.
So wear that jacket.
