I enjoyed that. Thanks Foreigner.

Does anyone know Australia's airport security stats?

We’re security theater, just with less “respect my authoritah” types than the TSA.

El Al and Israel is often considered some of the best aviation security in the world, and they are regularly tested since there is many a crazy person out there whom would love to take down an Israeli jet.
One of the big differences is that they don’t really care what you take on board, instead they look at the person, and they ask questions. It’s not an interrogation, but rather a “casual chat” which they are actively looking for signs that you’re on the level. It’s hard for all but the most highly trained person to be able to say something like “oh I’m going for a holiday at paradise beach” when their actual intention is to blow up the plane en-route.

They put their efforts into this rather than lambasting an 80 year old grandmother whom accidentally brought the 110ml bottle of sunscreen rather than the 100ml.

Furthermore, as the above video eluded to, if a would be terrorist actually gets to the airport, you’ve already lost, since most genuine bad guys have typically done many a dry run, and thus already know the security procedures, and how to defeat them.

As per the 9/11 terrorists, some of whom were seen at BOS airport prior to the attacks....

I see you found this. I posted it over at FlyerTalk almost 2 months ago :P

Which version of the tipping video did you see? There's the old one at CollegeHumor and a remake/updated one they did for his TV show.
