Why do i have to constantly chase ihg rewards points

Is it just me ? I am finding I have to chase my points from my stays or they don't get posted. I don't even bother about chasing the Business Rewards points anymore. Even when they post them after my follow up. The last 2 out of 2 have not posted, when they did they did not allocate the Double Dining points that I registered for on the 15th April with stays after.
What is going on ?
Are others having these problems ?
Who posts the points ??? Is it IHG at their Head office or is it the particular establishment ?
Getting a bit sick of it to be honest and wondering why I am staying loyal.
A loyalty program should be just that and one should not have to constantly check up on and distrust the provider IMHO....
 
Not just you. Poor IT systems in place and the support can be woeful at times.

Almost always I have have to chase up the promotions such as Big Win and Accelerate as some stay has not posted or not posted correctly. Luckily I don't stay that often as it can get time consuming chasing them up.
