I am travelling in a few days on QF1 to Bangkok. In order to select a good seat using NM's favourite seat suggestions or Seat Guru it would be helpful to find out which version is on this route.

Apologies I don't have enough posts yet to embed the link for "NMs favouriote seats by Aircraft type"

Also for future reference what is the best way of checking which plane is flying particular routes on particular days.

Thanks

try this link, I don't know how exactly to find out exactly which version operates but QF1/2 is normally this config. Through expertflyer you can see and I forgot the name of the other tools but someone here can point you in the right direction I'm sure

What booking class are you in?

What is the most forward seat in your cabin when selecting seats?

I'm traveling in Y, haven't been there for many years on QF International but will cope OK as on my own. (No Mrs GoSwans on this trip)
Of course I didn't look at the seat allocation, dopey me!

Row 40 is the front behind Y+. This would seem OK if no bulkhead in front? Any other rows/seats better?

I suspect on op-up is unlikely despite WP, however probably low load due to BKK floods.

Thanks

Row 40 is likely to have a bulkhead. However, there is quite a useful cutout towards the floor.

The configuration linked to by ozmille is the one; you wont see rows 42-45 on that one.

40D or 40G are quite good seats (rather private).

Thanks for that, I'll book 40D and keep fingers crossed for an op-up.
