I didn't think this would be allowed in playground so popped it here.
So I signed up with twitter and opened Facebook. Mainly because I felt like I was missing out when it came to airline stuff! And maybe seeing a couple of other pictures. I haven't done any trip reports but might also be a good place to keep a record of my own pictures to look back at later.
I was surprised to see Air NZ's twitter feed was the same as the Facebook feed. There seems to be an Air NZ virtual but I'm not sure what that's about. Signed up to the Air NZ fairy, grabaseat (although I receive daily emails which I always look at so I'm not sure if it's useful), QF, VA etc and there are some really awesome pictures other people have posted. Also just seeing what the general public (generally less geeky) post is interesting and seeing where their expectations sit.
I also checked out who Air NZ was following and it said "Sir David Flynn". Is the "Sir" bit real??
I'm not sure I want to follow any travel bloggers. I suspect they'll make me feel depressed because they'll always be posting from awesome places!
Not sure if hotels are useful although Accor do some sort of check in thing? Places?
Who are you following/facebooking re:travel? Any other useful companies to follow?
