Which SQ lounge does VA Platinum allowed at Changi?

Flying SQ on Y. Has Velocity platinum. Which SQ lounge at which terminal is best to use? Shower facilities will be desirable. thx in advance for advice.

Only allowed to use Krisflyer Gold lounges in either terminal (T2 or T3), no access permitted to the superior Silver Kris lounge (business/first class & SQ PPS or higher status only to access these lounges). No shower provided, however for a modest cost (~$7 AUD) you can have a shower at commercial lounge.

It always confuses me that the Silver lounge is the higher level one. I have joined Aegean Air (at the advice of this forum and ABT) so should get *A gold next month. Will I then be eligible for Silver or Gold Kris lounges?

Star Alliance gold members get access to SilverKris lounges when travelling in Y... except in Singapore, where you are granted access to the Krisflyer Gold lounge.

In short, no.

There is a third * lounge, Thai lounge, that you can access in T1 (a short airtrain ride+ short walk from T3 or short airtrain ride + longer walk from T2) but I wouldn't bother, as it is fairly basic.

The KrisFlyer Gold lounges at Changi are both very pleasant, though the one in T3 is the (slightly) better of the two. The major shortcoming is just the lack of showers. I really wish they would do something about it, especially being that SIN is their major hub!

No showers in *G Lounge but if you have PP you can use showers in Ambassador Lounge at opposite end upper level in T3.

Not perfect scenario but it beats not having a shower.

I'm *hoping for a bidding war between SQ and EY for high tier Virgin customers. Access to the F lounge in AUH maybe be reciprocated by SQ?

Starting to get off topic but not sure why this would happen as EY and VA partnership is a much stronger one than SQ and VA and you can see that in the fact they don`t offer bonus miles for elites when flying SQ and the earning rates in general are not as good. Not much to go on i know but just a feeling i get but.... we can always pray!
