Hi Everyone,

After searching around for a while I couldn't find the droids I was looking for so I thought I would post, and apologies if it is answered elsewhere.

Which AA lounge?

I have a couple of flights coming up.
(I am a QF WP)

MEL/LAX QF 93 connecting with QF 3015 (AA codeshare) onto Boston (with a 5 hour LAX wait ZZZZzzzzz) all travelling in whY.
What are the lounge options? QF F Lounge in MEL, Which AA Lounge in LAX?

Returning a few days later Leaving Boston on QF 3010 and arriving LAX at 20:25 then outbound on QF 94 at 23:30
Which Lounges in BOS and LAX?

So based on the above, which lounges would I be able to get into?

A few weeks after that trip basically doing the same thing through to Chicago, do they have any different lounges I should try out (I used the Admirals lounge there previously, but I was only a SG then)

Cheers and thanks as always for the awesome advice!

At LAX you will be departing from the AA terminal which is Terminal 4. There is one liunge access that serves both the Admirals Club (equiv to business class lounge) and the Flagship Lounge (equiv to First Class lounge).

When you enter the lounge entrance foyer and present your boarding pass and FF card you will be invited to use the appropriate lounge. Both lounges are up one level with with the service desk at th etop of the stairs/lift. The Admirals Club lounge is to the left and the Flagship lounge to the right. Access to the FL is via an access card provided to eligible passengers at the departure level reception desk when you present your boarding pass and FF card. QF platinum members can use the FL.

BOS only has an Admirals Club lounge - no flagship lounge there.

QF94 departs from Tom Bradley International terminal. If connecting from the BOS flight on the same day you could visit the Terminal 4 Flagship Lounge before taking the air-side transfer bus over to TBI. There is a OneWorld First Class lounge at TBI but it can get pretty busy at that time of night.

Chicago has a Flagship Lounge but it depends on which airline and gate you are departing from. The FL is at the end of K concourse and that can be a long walk from some of the AA gates used for domestic flights. For example, if departing from say G20, its a lonnnggg walks to/from K18. but the FL does have self-serve food and drinks while the Admirals Club lounges 9one at the junction of concourses H and K and one near G8) are regular Admirals club lounges with limited free services.

Here is a good map of ORD.

I have been really unimpressed by the OneWorld First Class lounge at TBI. Maybe I'm there at the wrong times. (Mind you I'm very unimpressed with TBI airside full stop.)

I thought the Terminal 4 Flagship lounge at LAX was reasonably pleasant.

Thanks for the tips everyone, look forward to giving the trip report.

From my experience, AA admiral club lounges really disappointing, food service is close to none, very limited beverage choices. In Chicago they give you a drink coupon for 1 complimentary drink and everything else is at a cost unless you just have cold water or some snack. Worst of all, wireless internet is only free to AA members, how ridiculous!

Standard drinks are now complimentary to everyone in the AC.Your drink coupons are valid for premium drinks. You can always go back and ask for more coupons and i have never been refused.
Also as a WP mrsdrron has been offered free T-mobile cards in the AC and others have reported asking for and receiving them-not for SG or QP though.I dont get one as an AA plat-you have to be a paid AC member.
