My company is with Reward Gateway and has the Coles gift cards for 5% off with no CC surcharge (and no shipping fee). AMEX allowed too, but the payment gets processed by Reward Gateway so no supermarket bonus points for Plat Edge. They've recently started doing the Coles eGift cards too, but they are more difficult to use than the Woolworths equivalent (for me at least):

- The easiest way is to print out the barcode in the email they send you with the egift card, however, this requires you to print out something and put it in your wallet
- I've tried scanning the PDF on my phone screen but it didn't seem to work
- There is an alternative to the barcode, which is manually typing the gift card number into the system. However, unlike the WISH egift cards which have a truncated 10 digit card number for you to type, the Coles one is actually 13 digits longer(!!) than your usual gift card number. So you'll be required to type in a 30 digit card number followed by a 4 digit PIN.

I have the same option as this through my company's scheme, also run by Reward Gateway.

Our scheme used to make the same surcharge, but enough staff complained that the surcharge got dropped.

Well it looks like something got changed in the last couple of weeks - went to buy my Coles Gift Cards, and now:

- Physical cards are no longer available
- AMEX is subject to a 3% surcharge
- "Premium" (i.e. Gold/Platinum/Black) Visa/Mastercards appear to have a 1.5% surcharge
- Non-premium cards have no surcharge

Will be posting on my company intranet to see why the policy has suddenly reverted with no notice..
