a nickname that has morphed from Clarence the cross eyed lion, given to me by a ex boss

There's this thing called a Demo Scene that I was involved with when younger.
dodgeyhack is the handle I used back then. Now I use it for everything.
Part of the idea of demos is that they push the limits of the hardware - sometimes, ok often, through dodgey hacks - with hack taking on this meaning, rather than the negative one it is unfortunately associated with these days.

I think there have been many topics like this before, though the last of these is likely too old to repost in.

In the past almost ten years on here, I'm certain there's been a similar thread, but doesn't hurt to kick another off from time to time - and people do change their Nicks (i'm looking at you QF WP). Perhaps we need another "what are the recurring AFF threads" - the songs/music about flying is always one that comes to mind.

Comes from the Far East Russian city Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, one of the most isolated large cities in the world:

http://www.visitkamchatka.com/

The city is surrounded by UNESCO heritage listed volcanoes and has Russian submarine base to guard the Pacific.

I have never been to PKC myself but will get there one day, especially S7 of OneWorld is serving it from KHV so I should be able to redeem it using my QFF or AA miles.

I use a different handle on each website in order to keep my identities separate so people can't track me from forum to forum.
Yeah...I had someone track me down here and send me a "I know where to find you now" message....

Someone else on the interwebs also uses blackcat20 as I have been beaten to it in some places, such as ebay.

Ah! I was wondering about that :) . I want to get to the Kamchatka Peninsula in the next year or so, so was hoping to get some tips!

ps also accessible on S7 from HKG via Vladivostok!

Blackadder...well Baldrick actually, as I always have a cunning plan.....666 as it is always devilishly clever.

Commodore 64 or Amiga?

<--- my avatar makes it pretty self-explanatory.

I chose it 'back in the day' of mIRC, as there was a Dr Seuss book sitting on my bookshelf... it's stuck for many online accounts (except Ashley Madison) :p

ha mIRC! those were the days..does IRC have any hope in this day and age? bit like bulletin boards I suppose.

When my dad set up my first email account for me in the 90's IBM offered some useful suggestions (presumably as 'samh' was already taken) and since then samh004 has always stuck.

Not a huge fan of the series, but remotely similar career pathway.

Do you have your own 'Still' too? :D

Haven't seen a reclining thread for a few days. Another debate could solve some issues....
