Many QF aircraft now have power sockets throughout the cabins.

Let's make this a guide as to where the are located.

Last flight I had on a 333 in row 23 (bulkhead) I could not find one.

Today I have a bit of time so I embarked on a search. .. and there it was!

Lift up the 23A TV monitor and it's nestled in the gap.

Good thread ... a pet hate of mine. Not just power sockets, but often finding the headphone plug.

Headphone plugs ... now you mention it one thing I find with two prong sockets is wich is L or R.

I'm hopeless...I just ask the flight crew where the socket is if I can't find it after a 10 second look ;)

The thing I find most annoying about power sockets on aircraft is they are often in locations where the cable you're trying to use won't fit.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Oh Yes! A pet bug bear of mine.

Sometimes they are in ridiculous (and hidden) places, usually requiring some form of contortion to access.

I take batteries to recharge my smartphone/tablet in case there are no power outlets or they are not working.

333 row 25 j/k pair - shared

From my recent observations on Qantas A330-300 (international)
Economy section
A/B and J/K seat: on the back of the seats in front of you, just below the seat cushion level
or below your seat cushion between the two seats
D/E/F/G: between D/E or F/G just below the seat cushion level of your seat

Was seated in J in an A380 and learnt that the wider pin Euro plugs do not fit into these "multi" sockets. The crew even scrounged about their own personal items to see if an adapter was available..

Just noting that the V and Freq is 110V/60Hz in those photos. Most laptop and smart phone chargers are good for 110-240V and 50/60 Hz, but you won't want to be plugging in something that only wants 240/50....
