Hi,
In late. December,2015 i.e. after Christmas Day, I will be taking my five person family to Singapore from Brisbane and returning about 21 days later. Just wondering, does booking as soon as the ticketing window opens provide the best value or just the best availability/options? Is there a single source that lists when the different airlines open up flights for sale?

Only advice is do your research on tickets and once you have a good idea of general prices, book something you think is a deal

My normal advice is to hold off booking until you're sure that there will be no sales, however late December is one of those peak of peak travel times, so you're unlikely to see too many sales for around that time plus there is a risk that seats will fill up quickly.

I'd be finding out how what the loads are like for December 2014 esp for the flights you'd be interested in taking next year, and use that as your guide for when to book your tickets. If December this year is relatively empty, I'd hold off booking for Dec 2015 until closer to the date since you never know, there could be a sale which suits. If they are pretty full I'd be booking as soon as you can.
