What's more important onboard - seat space or entertainment?

Not long ago, SYD-LAX in Y, I had no one in front to recline on me and no one next to me BUT the IFE didn't work. I was offered a shift to another seat occupants all around and declined. Space more important for me by far.
 
Used to say IFE was more important, but now that I have an iPad I'd swing strongly towards space in this argument.

I think people need to critically assess their resource requirements as part of their responsibility for maximising returns to shareholders.

And that would be having my best people functional on arrival, while letting go poor performing staff.
