Currently in Melbourne waiting to fly to LAX on VH-VPH and it's gone out of service again and apparently for the same reason as the original thread which has been closed for further comments. I have a connection out of LAX to JFK which I'm obviously not going to make.

VA are saying the plane is being inspected and has been tentatively been rescheduled till 2.30pm but I'm not that optimistic. Waiting in the lounge and for the VA rep. to come & tell me what's happening. I'm hoping my paid ticket in J and the fact that I'm a WP might put me up the priority list for alternate arrangements.

What is your source of info that it's the same reason as before?

As a paid J WP you should be taken care of, but if you are proactive it may help. If you search and find your preferred routing (even on another airline), usually a polite but firm request in these circumstances does the trick. best of luck.

Wow, sorry to hear that, I took VH-VPH BNE-LAX last Saturday and just arrived back today, after being disrupted by a Delta cancellation into LAX.
