Been keeping an eye out for an annual fee free visa/mc since cancelling the QCU card a month back, these seem to be the only ones on offer. Couldn't see any posts about them on here yet, so thought I'd share:
Earth Platinum
Altitude Platinum
The regular Earth and Altitude cards are also available annual fee free.
I was thinking the Earth card since I mainly collect QFF points, however the Altitude bonus is interesting (around 5000 velocity points and higher cap). Far from the best earn rates but about the only no fee offer I've found at the moment.
Earth Platinum
- $0 annual fee first year ($125 after)
- 0.99% for 6 months on balance transfers at application
- 1 Qantas Point per $1 spent on purchases with your Earth Platinum American Express Card
- 0.5 Qantas Point per $1 spent on purchases with your Earth Platinum MasterCard
- 3,750 monthly point cap
- Bonus 1:1 on Qantas products and services (not included in cap)
Altitude Platinum
- $0 annual fee for the first year on new cards. Apply between 2 July - 30 September 2013. After the first year, standard annual fee (currently $150) applies
- 2 Altitude points per $1 spent on purchases on your Altitude Platinum American ExpressCard
- 1 Altitude point per $1 spent on purchases on your Altitude Platinum Visa or Altitude Platinum MasterCard
- 7,500 monthly point cap
