Warning: Virgin scam circulating

It has probably already been shared but be aware Virgin put out a warning to travel agencies (yesterday, to my knowledge) around a scam email circulating this week promising a free flight in return for filling in a survey.

Attention everyone, don't click the link above, it's a scam (says so right in the link).

Clearly we all would know THAT was a scam if it was from Virgin, offering anyone a free flight!

Virgin email us asking us to spend 10 minutes on some tedious survey no-one ever reads, and gushingly proclaims FIVE people a month nationally allegedly get randomly picked to get a $100 voucher, or something absurd.

Yeah, right.

Understood, but sadly many people fall for scams, big and small, on a daily basis.

Yes, got the scam email last week. It looked semi-decent, but still had some red flags. Can understand people falling for it though who aren't so familiar.
