I've only noticed this the last two days, but when I go to post a Quick Reply, the submit button instead does a "wait x seconds" countdown before I can post. Why?

Have you posted within a short period of time prior to pressing the reply button?

I've never had it before, and not posting at an increased frequency that I'm aware of...

And then 13. It may be in relation to how recently you posted as mannej alluded to

Just had a 10 second wait even though I haven't been posting...

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

An excellent new feature.
Just a shame it it hasn't been around longer, it might have saved me from making some my more cringeworthy posts.

Probably to stop spam... but haven't seen any spammers on the loose here lately. Perhaps it was inadvertently activated with the recent backend changes.

From memory one needs to wait 30 seconds before posting another reply on the forum and 5 minutes if the post is a duplicate of one you have just posted recently.

I get this message:
This site's anti-spam requires Javascript; enable it and refresh this page to continue. NoScript Users: Whitelist the domain services.wpspamhammer.com and refresh.
Then that goes, then the countdown starts.

I'm still seeing it, seems rather intermittent. I've also seen the same message as basso. But I've spoken to admin so I understand it's an anti-spam measure.
