VX Experience at LAX for VA Plat and Gold

I had no issues using the Loft lounge at LAX being a Virgin Australia Platinum.

Reminds me of when it was just a temp Virgin Australia lounge last April. The lady didn't want to let me in and asked for my card, showed my platinum and she says "Only gold allowed in here sorry" I had to explain that platinum was higher, copped a massive eye roll and moved on in... it was more funny than anything and wouldn't be a problem currently.

I was trying to book with VX end of year but due to schedules not being released I have done delta this time around, while I don't think the planes are as nice (from what I have read), I do find being able to select seats and the integration smoother than I had with VX, had some issues with connecting to NY light having people separated into different areas of plane (although this may have changed over the last year too).
